SIG Capstone Program

I was at a summer program called Sumer Institute for the Gifted (SIG), in Yale University for the month of July. There, we were able to capture the college experience, as well as take classes in real life Yale classrooms. Through this amazing opportunity, I was able to take classes about Bacteriology and Time Travel.

In the bacteriology class, we learn about different topics, ranging from viruses all the way to artificial intelligence used in bacteriology. At the end of the program, we were asked to complete a project that explores a environmental or medical problem related to bacteriology, and come up with a logical solution to solve the issue in the field of bacteriology.

Furthermore, I also took a class about Time Travel, which was especially interesting to me, as I already had prior background knowledge and interest in the topic. We were able to learn about different sub-topics about Time Travel, including string theory, Einstein’s theory of relativity, and etcetera. In contrast to my bacteriology class, we were asked to research a intriguing topic about Time Travel, and communicate that with the class.

For both of my final project (Capstone Project), I created a website that is about its respective topic.
